A simple and discreet installation
The RE01AV/4 BEEPER FRONT RADAR system is 100% universal, it is compatible with all vehicles on the market. The sensors can be painted to blend in with the bumper. The front detection is automatically activated as soon as the brake pedal is pressed and is delayed for 10 seconds: when you park your vehicle in forward gear (e.g. herringbone), any front shock is avoided.

It is possible to deactivate the front sensors thanks to a switch provided in the kit to avoid unwanted triggering. Indeed, at high speed the front radar can consider rain, snow or hail falls as an obstacle. This is why this switch allows to cut the front radar and to avoid these inopportune triggerings.

Detection distances
The Beeper RE01AV/4 sensors provide detection from 80cm to 30cm.

Sensor installation

The sensors should be placed at least 50cm from the ground. Sensors placed lower will detect the ground, which will cause unwanted triggers.

WARNING - VEHICLES FORBIDDING TO CONNECT A CONSUMER ON THE REVERSE LIGHT HARNESS
On certain vehicles the +12 V reversing light is parasitic when the engine is in operation what can disturb the good operation of the reversing radar kit. In other cases, this +12 V Backup Light does not allow any additional consumer.
For all these vehicles, Beeper has developed the RCANR2 module to retrieve the +12 V Backup Light information from the CANBUS network. This module connects to the CANBUS of the compatible vehicle and delivers a +12V Backup Light for the connection of a backup camera.
