Usage tips for roof bars

If the car manufacturer has not supplied fastenings, entrust the specialist with installation. If they are, remove plastic plugs from them before mounting.
If you are performing the installation yourself, clean and degrease the mounting place. Mark locations which you are planning to drill. Cover neighboring areas with masking tape to protect the paintwork.
It is recommended to demount the cabin ceiling trim beforehand. During installation use silicone sealant to prevent water from getting in the vehicle.
When using roof bars don’t exceed the maximum load specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise there is a risk of car body deformation.
The carried load should be distributed evenly. Check the load and bars for reliable attachment before driving.
