Builders buckets are used as a container for mixing different materials used for car repairing: primers, fillers, paints, sealants, or glues. Suitable for short-time storing of ready mixtures and compounds. Extremely useful when doing cleaning after finishing repair works.

What are the types of building buckets?

By material:

• Metal. They are characterised by high durability and wear resistance. Suitable for the transportation of flammables. Not sensitive to temperature changes. Resistant to mechanical impacts. Such buckets are heavy.
• Plastic. They are not heavy. Inexpensive. They might be fitted with a special spout for more convenient pouring of liquid compounds. Compatible with many aggressive substances.
• Rubber-plastic. They are characterised by elasticity and resistance to mechanical damage and temperature changes.

These containers have different capacities. They can be fitted with additional accessories like:

• Lids. To protect the contents from contamination and drying.
• Casters. For more convenient transportation.
• Rollers. For cleaning dirt from tools.

Some items are fitted with a measurement scale that allows to control the amount of the ingredients when mixing them.

Tips on using builders buckets

It's forbidden to use the devices for purposes other than intended, for example, to store or transport food or drinking water in them. It's undesirable to use the same container for transporting water and mixing a compound.

After getting all the work done, the bucket should be thoroughly washed. Do not leave any residues of quick-drying compounds there, for example, filler.

Check if the bucket material is compatible with the chemicals contained in the mixtures you are going to prepare. You shouldn’t also use aggressive solvents for cleaning the items, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

Do not keep plastic and rubber-plastic items at subzero temperatures or next to heaters. This might cause them to crack or deform.
